VVVV. Writer (EX9.Texture) save with Alpha

  • set the backgroung color of the Renderer node to alpha = 0
  • explore hidden pins of the Renderer (with herr Inspector ‘Ctrl+I’) and select any format with an A in it, for example A8R8G8B8 (A 32-bit ARGB pixel format, with alpha, that uses 8 bits per channel. A for alpha)
  • do the same for the DX9.Texture node. ‘Format’ = A8R8G8B8
  • choose a format that supports transparency (PNG, TGA or DDS)
